Sadly my father passed away December 17, 2024 at the age of 89.
I had been researching caskets just prior to his death.
I came across Casket Emporium and its owner Joe.
We had selected a casket and I had placed the order on line. It was easy to do and something that I needed to do as we planed his funeral.
Joe texted with me and then called. We talked for a while and after listening to me talk about my dad Joe suggested a casket he felt would better suit my dad. It was the same price as the one I chose but had a lot more detail in it.
After showing my sisters the pictures we decided that we like the one Joe suggested.
Now I want to stress that at no time did Joe make me feel pressured, or forced to select a different one. He was very good at helping me pick something in the wood color we wanted.
So I went ahead and placed the order. Joe got right on it and it was delivered very quickly to the funeral home.
It arrived undamaged and in pristine condition.
My dad’s service was held on 1/6 due to the holidays. As funeral homes do they allow the family time with the deceased prior to the public arriving.
When I set my eyes on the casket I simply could not believe the quality and craftsmanship that was put into the casket.
Everyone commented on the casket color and design it and my father was the center point of the service. And that is exactly what I expected.
Joe truly put time into understanding the man my father was. What he liked and appreciated and his simple suggestion truly helped me out when I needed it.
I’m always a bit worried about buying something on line. And this was the first time for me in this situation. Talking to Joe felt more like talking to a friend.
I would also like to point out that the funeral home cost for a similar casket was many thousands of dollars more than what this one cost.
I truly feel I got a whole lot more product for my money than from the funeral homes caskets. Especially in a wooden stained casket.
You simply won’t go wrong dealing with the owner and your time is better spent planning a great service rather than thinking of cost.

The process was easy and very affordable for such a stylish wood casket. Great price for this casket!
