Found Joe (owner) via online searches while planning for my mother's funeral. Contacted several providers and got some very sketchy vibes so was about to give up before I reached Joe. We were spending a significant amount on the casket (although a fraction of what the funeral home was trying to sell us) so it admittedly felt like a bit of a risk to go with someone found online and 'sight unseen', but I can hand-on-heart tell you that Joe delivered a beautiful Batesville casket on time and as agreed. He accepted credit cards which helped lower my anxiety since that offered some protection in case things went sideways. Joe was accessible by phone & text, he kept me continuously updated on delivery (because that was my next biggest fear - that something would go wrong and it wouldn't arrive on time) and there were no gotchas or hidden charges. That earns my respect and I can unreservedly say that Joe conducted his business in a first class way with us. Losing family members is a horrendous experience and the last thing anyone wants to deal with is haggling over funeral expenses, so my sense is that a lot of folks in the funeral industry take advantage and, for lack of a better word, 'gouge' grieving families. Based on our experience, Joe provides a great service for otherwise vulnerable people. Thank you again!
